JIM  SCOTT:  WORKSHOPS & RESOURCES

Concerts for Elementary and High Schools
Jim's jazz/world/folk-influenced music challenges kids to listen and participate in something out of the ordinary, while the lyrics speadk directly to them of peace, ecology, diversity, and just plain feeling good about themselves. His solo acoustic guitar wizardry wins over even the toughest young critics. He often leaves his audiences marvelling that so many different sounds can come out of one guitar without any electronic gimmickry.
For younger audiences, Jim draws on his children's CD Big and Little Stuff to create a captivating, intimate atmosphere. For older age groups, he connects with songs from his CD's Earth, Sky, Love and Dreams and Sailing With the Moon in a style that's warm and open, yet still hip enough to cut it.
